Friday Update May 23

Dear Parents,

Thank you so much for joining us in our Sing A Long and in saying goodbye to Mrs. Johnson and Ms. Rosita! I’m so sorry I had to run away so fast afterward!! I was late for my son’s portfolio share—as many of you know, sometimes that kind of juggling is hard! J Thank you very much for the thoughtful class gift. J

We celebrated two summer birthdays this week….HAPPY BIRTHDAY HENRY AND DANIEL!!!!!  We have completed most of our projects for the year, so now we are getting special presents ready for Dad (shhh! J), doing some fun final insect activities, and having some well deserved extra play time. J

COMING UP

Tuesday, May 27^th : WET DAY (Students only) We will put out the pool, play with shaving cream and get messy!

* Children should come to school with a bathing suit under their clothes. 

*We will have free dress.  Flip-flops or Crocs would be the best footwear.

*Please send a LABELED plastic bag with a LABELED towel and a LABELED complete change of clothes.

*Apply sunscreen before going to school 

*Wednesday, May 28^th: MAGIC SHOW! (Students only) We will walk to the primary school, have an opportunity to play on the kindergarten playground, watch a magic show and enjoy a popsicle.

*Monday, June 2^nd: Pre-K Visits KINDERGARTEN!!! (Students only) We will walk to the primary and visit kindergarten rooms, play on the k playground, listen to a story read by Mrs. Cuthbert (PS Librarian) and have a snack in the primary school cafeteria.

*Thursday, June 5^th:  Last Day of School!—11:30 dismissal
