Todd Parr

Our class had the wonderful opportunity to meet one of our favorite author/illustrators! Todd Parr’s books are colorful, fun to read, and always have an important and loving message. Our students LOVE to have them read out loud.

Todd Parr (as he is lovingly called by all of the students—his first and last name are not separated!) read us his newest book LOVE THE WORLD. He also read us some of our favorites, illustrated using the student’s ideas, and showed us the process he goes through when he writes a book. We then drew our own pictures and stories and Todd Parr added his own touch to many of them!
