One of the first books we read in Pre K is The Kissing Hand by Audrey Penn. It is about a little racoon named Chester who is a little nervous about going to school until his mom shows him a little secret to keep her love with her. It is a book our cuties pick up over and over again to look at!
In our classroom we made kissing hand cookies. (The recipe is in the recipe book that will be going home at the end of the year with all of the things we make!) We tasted them at school, and then sent one home for you to enjoy with love. See the slideshow for cookie pictures...
