Dear Parents,
100 DAYS OF

Here are some things that
happened this week. We…

and formation for the letter Ff.
*brainstormed/ listed/cut
out words that begin with Ff and wrote them in our alphabet journals.
*added feathers to our
feely letter Ff. Please remember to add this to your feely letter ring
and review all of the letters.
*learned the song Five
Little Speckled Frogs and made a book based on the song to practice taking one
away.
*played with pretend frogs in the sensory table
along with our moon sand.

the water table and ordered them 1 – 20
*painted with feathers.

poles to catch the letters that the words on our mat started with.

the playground.

lesson with Mr. Pearson. Last time we
talked about responsibility (big word!) This week we talked about respect.
*Read many different
versions of The Three Little Pigs and the Big Bad Wolf. We will continue with this fairy tale next

good guy/bad guy and happily ever after (or a happy ending of some sort.))
*Painted what we thought we
would look like when we are 100 years old.
*Went on a number hunt.
*Measured our feet with
cubes after reading “How Big is a Foot?”
about a king making a bed for a queen.

Have a wonderful long weekend!
January 29, 2014
Dear Parents,
It was a short week, but a
full one!!! Our cuties were adorable
dressed up today, and enjoyed singing their Chinese songs to the lion dancers
as well as the cafeteria staff, LOVED the loud lion dance, and rattled their
shakers and bells for our parade! J
We finished up Chinese New
Year activities (lanterns, masks and shakers are coming home today in the
Friday Folder blue bags), and finished Nursery Rhymes.
I hope you and your family
have a restful, wonderful four day weekend, and I will see the cuties back on
Monday for another fun week!!! Happy
Chinese New Year! Gong Xi Fa Cai!
